Materials and project development
Unlike most of the subjects taught in our schools and universities that follow given facts, concepts, rules and theories, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is a subject that has to consider that for any given scenario there may be a multitude of answers or solutions. What may be true in one place or time will be entirely different elsewhere. It’s for this reason that a local to global dimension is so important.
That being so there are basic concepts that are universal, giving an emerging conformity to curricula, Programmes of Studies, resources and classroom materials, projects and so on. As opposed to offering ‘off the peg’ services GlobalEd has preferred to develop bespoke programmes so as to directly respond to the needs of individual schools and universities. Having followed this principal over the years it goes without saying that GlobalEd therefore has, if preferred, a comprehensive archive of available resources.
